A new project that will Irish gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans people choose to settle in London is appealing for participants.
The research study by the University of Essex is being funded by an £82,000 grant from the Economic and Social Research Council.
Dr Roisin Ryan-Flood of the Department of Sociology, said: "Metropolitan centres have long been associated with tolerance of sexual diversity and established queer communities."
